THIS IS AN EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FORM FOR TERM 2! Join us for HipHop where creativity meets fun on the dance floor! This style is all about energy, individuality, and expression. What’s HipHop? HipHop is more than just a dance style - it’s a cultural movement born from the streets of the Bronx in the 70s. It’s rooted in self-expression, rhythm, and community. In dance, HipHop combines powerful grooves like Bounce and Rock with the freedom of Freestyle, encouraging dancers to express themselves authentically. It’s dynamic, creative, and fun! In this class, you’ll learn the 3 key elements of HipHop dance (and much more).... 🔥 Bounce: Exploring the difference between jumping and bouncing, and feeling the music. 🎶 Rock: Moving on the opposite plane to the bounce, and getting into the beat that way. ✨ Freestyle: Get creative, experiment, and express your own unique style. It’s more than just the moves though! As the term goes on, you’ll discover some fascinating facts about where HipHop dance came from, the culture behind it, and why it’s such a powerful and creative art form. What to Expect: ➡️ Learn the fundamentals and experiment with them to make them your own. ➡️ Have fun with short, exciting routines you can show off anywhere. ➡️ Dance for yourself - whether it’s in front of friends or in the mirror at home (you do you, HipHop Star)!
